Book Review of "Magonia" by Maria Dahvana Headley

This will be a unfair book review based solely on the fact that I could barely get past the first few pages. I barely did get past the first few pages, reading less then ten to be exact. I may regret this decision given the praise that this book has been receiving on Goodreads, the concept and premise behind this book especially intriguing me, but I just could not get past the authors writing style. It was so ... choppy and ill used. Even if the story itself is interesting enough to go through with it, I just cannot foresee myself reading through the crappy writing for that mere fact.
